Storm-Damaged Maple Removal Near Downtown Statesville

After a recent storm in Statesville, our team was called out for an urgent and challenging situation: a massive maple tree had fallen onto a customer’s home and garage, causing significant damage. With the tree resting in a tight, structure-packed area, this wasn’t a job for “cut and drop.” It required a careful, controlled plan to protect the property and finish the removal safely.

Because of the tree’s size and the limited working space around the home, we brought in a crane-assisted removal approach. Using precision rigging, we secured large sections of the maple and lifted them away piece by piece, keeping the load stable and the drop zone controlled. Clear communication between the crane operator and ground crew was key, ensuring every cut and lift happened smoothly and safely.

Jobs like this highlight why experience matters, especially when storm damage creates unpredictable weight, tension, and hazards near buildings. At Earnest Tree Service, we’re proud to respond quickly and deliver safe, professional solutions for complex removals, helping homeowners move forward with confidence even after the toughest storms.
