Tackling a Massive Storm-Damaged Oak Tree: Precision, Safety, and Expert Removal
At Earnest Tree Service, we specialize in handling challenging tree removals, especially after storms. Recently, we were called in to remove a huge oak tree that had been blown over during a storm. While the tree was already on the ground, its massive size, surrounding buildings, and landscape obstacles made this job far from simple.
Storm-damaged trees often require extra care to remove safely. This particular oak had fallen in a way that made cutting it up a complex and technical process. Instead of a straightforward removal, we had to carefully assess the weight distribution of the tree and determine the safest way to dismantle it without causing further damage.
To handle this job efficiently and safely, our experienced climber, Dylan, scaled the fallen tree to strategically cut and remove sections piece by piece. This approach ensured that:
✅ The tree wouldn’t shift or roll unexpectedly during removal.
✅ Surrounding buildings and landscape features were protected from falling debris.
✅ Each cut was made safely while working at different heights and angles.
Using expert rigging techniques and chainsaw precision, Dylan and the crew methodically dismantled the oak and removed it from the property without any damage to the surrounding area.
