NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING(S) TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND PAR TICULARLY THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF STATESVILLE:

City Council of the City of Statesville will hold and conduct public hearings in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 227 South Center Street, Statesville, North Carolina, on October 19, 2026 at 6:00pm for the fol lowing purposes:

Right of Way Abandonment: ROW26-01 Dover Road

Description: Consider permanently closing a portion of approximately .44 mile section of Dover Rd from Larkin Commerce Pkwy intersection to the terminus of Dover Rd.

Right of Way Abandonment: ROW26-02 Free Nancy

Description: Consider permanently closing a portion approximately 288 foot section of an unnamed leg of right-of-way off Free Nancy Avenue going west until it terminates at the I-40 right of way.
