National Police Woman Day: Celebrating the Women of the Statesville Police Department

Each year on September 12, National Police Woman Day recognizes the women who serve in law enforcement and the important contributions they make to public safety and the communities they serve.

The Statesville Police Department is proud to recognize the women of SPD who have chosen careers dedicated to protecting and serving others. Across the department, women serve in a variety of roles and at multiple levels of leadership, bringing experience, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to their work each day.

From responding to calls and investigating crimes to supervising teams, mentoring fellow officers, engaging with residents, and helping guide the department forward, the women of SPD are an important part of our mission to serve the Statesville community.

National Police Woman Day also provides an opportunity to recognize the generations of women who helped open doors and expand opportunities for those who followed. Their contributions have helped shape modern law enforcement and continue to inspire women considering careers in public safety today.

To the women of the Statesville Police Department, thank you for your service, leadership, and commitment to our community. We are proud to serve alongside you.
